In his role as the Director-General of Investment Promotion at Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK), Simon Galpin is responsible for attracting and facilitating foreign direct investment into Hong Kong. In June this year the Hong Kong Exchange changed its listing rules to allow mining exploration companies to list in Hong Kong. With these changes, the Exchange predicts significant interest will emanate from Australia as only 12 resources companies are listed in Hong Kong currently. At the luncheon, Mr Galpin will speak on the role that Hong Kong plays in China’s capital raising as well as provide an update on Hong Kong’s economy and the key sectors for growth. |
