Mr Thomas G. Mattia, Chairman, Edelman China
As Chairman of Edelman China, Thomas Mattia is responsible for the Edelman’s Chinese business operations, including five offices in three cities, with more than 200 employees working for Edelman and Pegasus, the agency’s two brands in China.
Prior to joining Edelman, Mr Mattia was the Chief Communications Officer for Yale University, where he served as Chair for the Poynter Fellowship in Journalism. He is the former SVP and Director of Worldwide Public Affairs and Communications for The Coca-Cola Company and has filled senior executive roles for major international firms EDS, Ford Motor Company, GCI Jennings, Hill and Knowlton Inc. and IBM.
With a career spanning the globe over more than four decades, Mr Mattia has led communications for two Fortune 100 companies, directly served four CEOs and supported four of the world’s most powerful brands.
