![]() | In this presentation, Thomas Weber will delve into an intriguing subject - Mahatma Gandhi’s relationships with Western women. In particular, he will talk about Gandhi’s relationship with his most unlikely western disciple – the bohemian ‘fallen woman’, Nilla Cram Cook. Thomas Weber is a Reader and Associate Professor in the Politics and International Relations program at La Trobe University. He teaches Politics and Peace Studies, and has written extensively on Mahatma Gandhi. |
The seminar will be followed by dinner at around 7 pm at a nearby restaurant within walking distance of Melbourne University. All are welcome!
