Australia India Institute Conference
As India comes of age the opportunities for the country to assume a more prominent role in the region and the world increase but what does this mean for the Indian people, for its industries, its culture, its cities and villages? And what does this mean for the relationship between India and Australia?The conference consists of two days of plenary and keynote presentations with panel discussions.

The conference will conclude with the 2011 Annual Australia India Institute Oration:Indian Soft Power in a Globalising World to be delivered by Shashi Tharoor, author, human rights activist and member of the Indian Parliament.
