Since 1991 Asialink's Arts Residency Program has provided professional development opportunities for arts professionals working across artform, in exchange for the sharing of skills, knowledge and networks with local host communities. The program promotes sustained cross-cultural dialogue by facilitating reciprocal residencies and trialing new models of engagement.
An Asialink Arts Residency grant of up to $12,000 for three months goes towards travel, living and project expenses, and affords recipients the opportunity for in-depth research, stimulating cultural exchanges, international collaboration and uninterrupted time for creativity.
